Ilion PD presents bike safety lesson at Barringer Road

On Wednesday, May 21, Sergeant Daniel Dichiera & Officer Matthew Mills of the Ilion Police Department presented a bicycle safety assembly to all of Barringer Road students. The informative and interactive presentation stressed the importance of wearing helmets and obeying the rules of the road while riding and having fun! The officers left coloring sheets for a coloring contest—two winners from each grade will have lunch with Sgt. Dichiera. Adding to the excitement, four students each won a new bike in a schoolwide drawing. Hoffman Strength & Wellness generously donated the bikes.
