From Superintendent Rich—preserving our heritage
Dear CV Community,
Over the years, our district has accumulated a large number of uniforms, trophies, and memorabilia representing the proud histories of both the Mohawk and Ilion school communities. As we continue to make the best use of our space and preserve our past, we have made the decision to offer archived materials that are no longer on display to the community.
We understand that many of these items hold personal and sentimental value, and we want to provide an opportunity for community members to take a piece of that history home. All materials will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
Please know that we have digitally archived all of the accomplishments, and trophies celebrating major achievements such as state and sectional championships are proudly displayed in our CV trophy case and will remain part of our school’s permanent collection.
The memorabilia will be available to view and take during the following dates and times:
Location: Barringer Road Elementary – Cafeteria
Dates: August 11–14
Time: 9 a.m.–noon on the 11th and 12th and noon–3:00 p.m. on the 13th and 14th
We hope this opportunity allows members of our community to reconnect with cherished memories while helping us responsibly manage our storage space.
Thank you for your continued support of our district and our shared history.
Warm regards,
Jeremy M. Rich
Central Valley CSD Superintendent
